Casa Sirena  —

Casa de la paz is a beach house by architect Benjamin Garcia due to start construction in Mal pais, Santa Theresa, Costa Rica.
Ben’s favorite projects are curating a dynamic team of designers and landscapers to bring a beautiful property to life.

Pauline's main focus was to design all bathroom lay-outs and will frequently visit during the construction phase to make sure all details are executed perfectly.

The furniture is all designed out of old teak which weathers beautifully into this grayish faded look. There is little maintenance except for just adding teak oil. Pauline has had the privilege of traveling to Bali for many years to bring back master pieces from the incredible talented craftsmanship found in Java and Bali. Currently she is also creating sustainable efforts and working to train local carpenters to create the same hand-made items to come from Costa Rica. Her goal is to make these sustainably designed pieces available locally and help eco-friendly, quality design more available.
